I grew up surrounded by mental illness: a hoarding uncle, a bipolar grandmother, and countless family members lost to suicide. When away at college I developed a healthy obsession with psychological research and novel techniques in treating and diagnosing mental illnesses as well as other psychological quirks. While also at college I lived through depression and anxiety and lived to tell the tale. In this blog I detail interesting and revolutionary psychological findings as well as sharing personal anecdotes regarding mental disorders and my own journey in combating everyday anxieties. I hope by visiting this site you leave being more informed about not just mental health but in your everyday perceptions of the world and everyone in it.
